• I would like to say how pleased I am to have found Allan, Lyn and "Loose Leads" dog training.
  • Allan and Lyn make you feel very welcome right from the start and their help, advice and support have been fantastic.
  • I was having a few problems with my rescue dog and Allan was able to show me where I was going wrong - not my dog !!
  • Now with my confidence improving all the time both me and my dog are really benefiting from our weekly lessons.
  • The lessons are run in a friendly, fun and structured way, and the agility sessions are fab!
  • I would (and have already) definitely recommend Allan and "Loose Leads" to anyone looking for dog training.Lisa & Pepsi

A few words about me

My life from an early age has always included dogs of all breeds I brought my first German Shepherd Dog in 1978 she was a very intelligent dog and a much loved family member.

In 1999 we brought a male puppy from working stock, Ace turned out to be a large imposing animal whom needed training so I decided to join my local branch of the Midland Counties German Shepherd Dog Association "MCGSDA".

Ace proved to be a conscientious pupil and he sailed thru all 4 classes that MCGSDA ran about this time I became very interested in dog training in 2003 Ace and myself were awarded handler and dog of the year.

In 2004 I was appointed trainer at the club, I remained for another 2 years before moving to the Nottingham Branch of MCGSDA to take Ace's training to a more advanced level, I am now an approved trainer at the Nottingham Branch.

I currently own a remarkable fully trained 5 year old bitch from the Arkashan Kennels and a 5 month old male puppy from German working stock from the Amberzita Kennels whom I have high hopes for.

I train all breeds of dogs in obedience at all levels, Agility for all ages. Also I offer a one to one tuition for problem dogs.

Dog training should be fun for both handler and dog, our classes are certainly fun.
